On Saturday evening a fine crowd attended the Curling Awards pot luck banquet at the church hall. President Doug Hudson welcomed the curlers and their guests. After Debbie Hudson said grace, a delicious, meal was enjoyed. The fall prize winners were: first place, Tim Dakin, Gord Baggs, and Brigid Fisher; second place Ron and Lois Fallie, and Craig Mathie; third place, Doug Kadowaki, Chris Handley, and Lynn Wagar.
Winter session were: first place, Doug and Karen Kadawaki, Jim Hutchinson, and Richard VanCamp; second Craig Larmer, Jim Byers, Craig Mathir, and JanVanCamp; third Ron and Lois Vivian, Leslie Weller, Shawn Tarsewicz.
There will be a fundraising golf tournament on June 9th.
There is a serious lack of curlers so if you would like to join this fun group, whether you are experienced or not, please join us.

The Fair Board will meet Wednesday 11th at the meeting room of the Rec. Centre at 7:30 p.m.
