NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: The Standard Newspaper is curious to see how people in our coverage area are keeping busy or having fun despite the COVID-19 related closures in the community. Please send us your good news stories and photos of what you are doing to pass the time during this pandemic. Photos can be emailed to office-standard@powergate.ca. We would like to highlight the creative ways people are finding to enjoy their time. If you have ideas of people or initiatives for The Standard to do a feature story on during this time, please email them to dan@thestandardnewspaper.ca. The Standard remains open, and will continue to cover the news important to the North Durham and Kawartha Lakes communities.
