Step back in time with Heritage Day

UXBRIDGE: This Sunday, August 25th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can go back in time at the Uxbridge Historical Museum, located at 7239 Concession Road 6 Uxbridge. Held on the beautiful Quaker Hill overlooking the Town and surrounding valley, Heritage Day takes place on the 5 acre, Uxbridge Historical Centre’s grounds. This municipally funded and run community museum is set up as a living village containing 10 historic buildings that have been carefully maintained and preserved for generations to come. Originally called Steam Threshing Days, this event is in its 48th year. This year’s theme is Heritage Family Fun Day. Entry to this family-friendly event is by donation. There will be artisan demonstrations, military re-enactments, entertainment and food for purchase including corn cooked over an open fire and pie. Most of the buildings will be open for exploration, including our print shop.
