Looks like Santa’s going to be busy for the next couple weeks in Pontypool.
Santa Claus is coming to Country Style on December 4th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Get a photo with Santa for $15. Free hot chocolate will be provided for all the children during Santa’s visit.
The Santa Run, Food and Toy Drive is on Sunday, December 12th, starting at the north end of town at 3 p.m. Don’t forget your food or toy donation and meet at the end of your driveway to have picture taken with Santa. This is a family tradition for my family and I am sure it is for a lot of other families. If you are new to Pontypool, I hope this becomes one of your family traditions. My thanks go out to all the firefighters for making this a great community event.
Pontypool Firefighters Association is having a fundraiser, wood burnt wall art. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. You can stop by the hall on December 6th, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for tickets or message them on Facebook. They will also have tickets with them during the Santa Run. The draw will be held on December 12th, after the Santa Run. Help raise money for our wonderful fire department by getting your tickets.
Remember to write to Santa and drop off your letter at Santa’s special mailbox, at the fire hall.
