“Let it be”

Being that I am an avid Beatles fan, I find this song always lifts my spirits. I figured this might help you too. We are inundated and overwhelmed by recent events. I recently had to take a break from the world, for a day in order, to turn off all the surrounding noise. For my personal and mental wellness, it’s something I needed to do. I realized my energy is better spent trying to help others feel better. I am an absolute optimist. Although times seem hard, I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like the whole world has shifted. It’s palpable, and I know you feel it too. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging our fear and anxiety. We all feel it and there’s no question we are all in the same boat. So my question is, how do we get through this? We must get through it together. Although we are currently forced to be apart from friends and family, I urge you to keep in touch. We could all use a friendly voice on the telephone. It’s good for our mental wellness and those on the other end of the line. Exercise is one of the best ways to keep our mental and physical bodies in check. You may have to do it at home or take advantage of the beautiful weather. Keep your body moving as much as you can! Eat well and sleep well. Here’s hoping this makes you smile.

“And when the night is cloudy, There is still a light that shines on me, Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.”
