With heavy hearts we announce the passing of life long resident Bob Strong. Bob had been battling cancer for a few years. He lost his battle peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Tuesday October 17 at his home. The funeral has taken place and he has been laid to rest at Carwright Union Cemetery. This is a huge loss for our community as many of you will remember him from the Blackstock Arena, working around the tracks of the fair grounds and working at the local cemeteries. Our condolences to his wife Eddie and his children during this difficult time.
