SCUGOG: “Its extravagant!”, stated Shane Bowler, son of Jason Bowler, who was the winner of a $5000 cash prize from the Tim Horton’s ‘Roll up the Rim to Win’ contest. Local Port Perry resident, Jason, went to the Tim Horton’s Restaurant drive-thru, located at 15930 Old Simcoe Rd., last Tuesday evening to purchase some food and coffee, and was surprised and delighted when he got home, to find that his cup held a winning prize. “I was so happy”, said Jason. “My wife Andrea, and my son and I, rushed back to the Tim Hortons and told the staff about our win. The staff were amazing, and there were smiles all around.” When asked what he would do with the money, Jason said, “I will do some renovations at home, but I’ve already put a down payment on a trip for our whole family to go to Cuba.” Mike Walker, owner of the Tim Hortons said, “We are very excited for our local guest. Jason is one of our regulars, and we’re thrilled for him and his family, and for the vacation they will be taking together.” The Tim Hortons ‘Roll up the Rim to Win’ contest runs until April 17th.
