SCUGOG: The Scugog Shores Museums are looking for photo entries from the community, for their upcoming Canadian Wildlife Photography of the Year exhibit and contest.
They are looking for people’s best photos of their favourite animals, birds or insects. The submissions can be in black and white, or in colour.
There are only two submission requirements, that all photos must be of wild animals in their natural habitat, and must have been taken by a resident of Scugog.
There will be two submission categories, photographers ages 14 and under and photographers ages 15 and older.
The gallery will have its grand opening at the Scugog Shores Heritage Centre & Archives, on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The traveling exhibit, created by the Canadian Museum of Nature, produced in partnership with Canadian Geographic and the Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada, will be on display until Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017.
