UXBRIDGE: Corner House Pub and Grill officially opened in Uxbridge in November, with the hopes of providing a better service for the community.
Shortly after the building, formerly Jersey’s, was purchased in October, owners Rajithan Tharmalingam and Anton Joseph started a large renovation on it, to make it reflect more of a casual dining and pub atmosphere.
Corner House offers a large variety of food options for all tastes, including, but not limited to, pizza, wings, pasta dishes and stir-frys. Corner House has an early bird special, which runs only Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., which includes coffee, three eggs, bacon, home fries and toast for $4.99 plus tax. They also have different daily specials.
All of the food they serve is homemade, and the owners wanted to stress that their prices are very reasonable. It is not uncommon to find the owners involved in service, as Corner House is described as a “very hands on business.”
Since they first opened, the owners are reporting that business has been better than they expected, and they say they are happy with the community support.
Corner House is located at 104 Brock St West, in Uxbridge’s downtown core.
