BROCK: A 59-year-old male from Fergus driving a motorcycle received life threatening injuries, as a result of a motor vehicle collision in the Township of Brock.
On July 8th, 2017, at approximately 4:38 p.m., officers from North Division were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. A white Ford pickup truck was northbound on Osborne Street when it collided with a black Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Thorah Concession 5. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from his bike. He was transported, to hospital by ambulance and later airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma hospital, with life-threatening injuries.
The 31-year-old Markham male, who was the driver of the pickup, and his three passengers remained on scene and were not injured.
Members of the DRPS Traffic Services Branch, Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
