KAWARTHA LAKES: The Kawartha Lakes Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre (KLSBEC) have once again partnered with Women in Networking for the fourth annual women’s breakfast for International Women’s Day.
This year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 3 at the Olympia restaurant in Lindsay. It will feature guest speaker, and best selling author Crystal Andrus Morissette.
Last year’s talk featured guest speaker author Kathleen Mundy.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to have someone like Crystal be available in our town community and to be part of the day,” KLSBEC manager Diane Steven said. “She is obviously accomplished and has a particular interest in being an advocate for women.”
The talk is titled “The Emotional Edge” and is focused on Ms. Morissette giving women specific tools to help empower and expand their lives.
The event will run from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tickets are $30 and are available to be purchased on-line at www.emotionaledge.eventbrite.ca.
