The September Pine Ridge Garden Club meeting, will feature Jeff Mason, who will be speaking on “Drought Tolerant Gardening.” Jeff is owner of Mason House Gardens in Uxbridge, and grows quite an extent of perennials, annuals, heirlooms and different types of bulbs.
In addition to lecturing and contributing articles to gardening magazines, Jeff has taught “The Fundamentals of Gardening” at George Brown College.
With the extensive drought we have experienced this year, this is a very timely subject, which will prepare us for any lack of rain in the future.
This evening is our annual Fall 'Flower and Vegetable' Show. Page 19 of the Club’s yearbook gives you the schedule for this show. All entries must be placed by 6:30 p.m. for the Judging.
