UXBRIDGE: A 63-year-old male passenger, a visitor from China, suffered fatal injuries, in a motor vehicle collision in Goodwood, on the night of Thursday, Aug. 18th.
According to police, at approximately 8:12 p.m., officers from North Division responded to the intersection of Goodwood Rd. and Front St. regarding a collision. A southbound black Chevrolet Cruze had entered the intersection and collided with an eastbound Honda CRV.
The 63-year-old passenger in the Honda died shortly after. The 74-year-old male driver of the Honda and two other passengers in the vehicle, a 73-year-old female and a 58-year-old female, were transported to a local hospital, to be treated for minor injuries.
The 50-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet was not injured. Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
