Another successful Seagrave Yard and Bake Sale is over for another year. Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the set-up, the two days of selling and the tear-down. We couldn’t have done it without your help.
Happy Anniversary wishes go to John and Joanne Olivero on the 27th and Wyn and Wendy Hughes on June 3rd. Marcia Parker (May 29th) visited the birthday box.
Tara Taylor at the beginning of her Mission and Service information asked everyone to stand and go around giving hugs in friendship.
Betty Somerville presented Keith Puckrin, with a replica of a Clydesdale horse and a wagon with logs, and to Rev. Parker a very flashy sequined jacket, which he wore. Both of these items were retrieved from the yard sale. We are definitely a fun Church family. The Ministry of music consisted of Wyn and Wendy singing in Welsh, the hymn “Penlan”, and the choir responding in English which was excellent. Rev. Richard’s message was titled “Trust and Obey”, there is no other way.
Welcome to new members Katie O’Hara, Roger and Doris Bullock and Ken and Cathy Nix, confirmed by the “Affirmation of Faith” service.
The article about the generosity of the people of the Seagrave Church in the “Our Canada” magazine in March has been placed on a “plak-it” and will be displayed on the wall of the church.
