Here are Thursday evening's euchre results. There was a three way tie for first place: Dianne Norton, Alma Manns and Brigitte Moase. Donna Traynor was second. Harold Crawford came in third. Doug Day was fourth and Norm Lackner took fifth place. Low score was won by Doug Fallis. The 'most lone hands' was shared by Doug Day, Larry Doble, Jocelyn Bradbury, and Eileen Nelson.

Caesarea-Nestleton Euchre is held every Thursday, except on holidays, at 7:30 p.m. in the Nestleton Community Hall; everyone is welcome.
Williams Point Cottagers Association
The Williams Point Cottagers Association is celebrating Civic weekend, with some family activities. On Saturday, August 5th, we have our 'Family Fishing Derby' from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a BBQ in the park starting at noon. Then on Sunday, August 6th, there is the 'Family Golf Tourney' at 1:00 pm.
Blackstock & District Lions Club
This year the Musician’s Corn Roast promises to be great with a mix of country music, performed by some of Ontario’s best artists. Mark your calendar for Sunday, August 20th, at 4790 McKee Road, just off Highway 57, beginning at noon. Our Lions, along with the Port Perry Lions, will be barbecuing and cooking corn.
