Sympathy is extended to Shirley Turner on the passing of her brother Ivan Gunter, and to Jessie Gunter on the passing of her brother-in-law. On Friday Shirley and Jessie along with Jan and Jim Byers and Jack and Davey Gunter attended the funeral at Bancroft and the interment at Coe Hill Cemetery.
Sympathy is extended to Bruce Kellet, our local auctioneer, on the death of his brother Gerald.
Sympathy is also extended to Sharon and George Wilson and their family on the passing of Sharon’s mother.
Barry VanCamp and Steve Backs were in charge of a very successful goat show at the Brooklin Fair on Saturday, when they were surprised by the large number of goats exhibited. The judge, a man from Kentucky, was equal to the task.
On Friday evening Graham Duff and the Trewins competed at the Truck and Tractor pull at Brooklin Fair.
There are still spaces for the Women’s over 40 Lob Ball League. All the games are played in Seagrave on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. If you would like some information call Sharon Mason at 905-986-1400. Ladies from this area would be welcome to join.
