SCUGOG: A new exhibit at the Scugog Council for the Arts titled “Canada Strong and Free - a Show of Quilts Celebrating Canada” will be debuting on Saturday, March 5.
To commemorate Canada's 150th birthday in 2017 the Port Perry Patchers have challenged themselves by making a series of quilts that show the beauty, history and inspirations that make us Canadian.
The exhibit runs from March 5 to Saturday, March 26, Tuesday to Saturdays at the Scugog Council for the Arts, 181 Perry St., Unit G-1.
The opening reception will be held on March 5 between 1 and 3:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome to come out.
