The 2015 municipal budget is expected to receive final approval from councillors in early February.
With taxes a topic of great debate throughout the recent municipal election, mayor Gerri Lynn O’Connor is hopeful that residents will take advantage of the new format of combining afternoon and evening meeting to facilitate more input and attendance from local residents.
“I want to make sure that the schedule is published in the papers with bold headings that the public is invited to attend these meeting,” Mayor O’Connor said.
