The public is invited to arrange a meeting with family support staff at any one of their four new offices, in Sunderland, Beaverton, Port Perry and Uxbridge.
This is the respective information for each office.
Sunderland, Sunderland Community Health Care, 26 Church St. S. Meetings can be arranged on the first Friday of every month, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Port Perry, Revera, Port Perry Villa, Kent Terrace, 15987 Simcoe St. Meetings can be arranged on the second Wednesday of every month, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Uxbridge, Uxbridge Municipal Offices, Main Floor, 51 Toronto St. S. Meetings can be arranged on the third Friday of every month, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Beaverton, Beaverton Town Hall, 397 Simcoe St. Meetings can be arranged on the third Wednesday of every month, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region is also offering a free workshop to the public, at First & Next Steps for Family and Care Partners in the Sunderland Town Hall, 120 River St., Sunderland, on Wed. Sept. 13th, 20th, 27th & Oct. 4th, at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This weekly series offers learners an opportunity to enhance knowledge regarding: First Steps, on Sept. 13th; Overview of Dementia, on Sept. 20th; Communication & Behaviour, on Sept. 27th; Managing Stress Positively, on Oct. 4th.
Note: First Steps is for both persons with dementia and their care partner.
